Pastrami and Rye, Perfect Together

The interaction of the pastrami and rye jumped to a new zenith today with the merging of the two at Spread Bagelry in Philadelphia.

Spread has made an arrangement with Katz's Deli in New York to smuggle their pastramis to Philly and have Spread cook them in their wood-fired oven, the same place their amazing rye bagels are finished up in.

The result is the best pastrami sandwich on the planet.  Hands down.  You can just get it with mustard or as a "special."

But, do not make it an every day habit.  You'll grow faster than water being pushed into a balloon.
