Food and travel blog from Fred Glick. Fred has traveled to many parts of the globe, has eaten just about every day of his life and enjoys sharing his experiences. The name of the blog reflects his sometimes (albeit crazy) idea of being in one city of town for just 12 hours and taking it all in! Come enjoy the experience!

Pastrami and Rye, Perfect Together
Spread has made an arrangement with Katz's Deli in New York to smuggle their pastramis to Philly and have Spread cook them in their wood-fired oven, the same place their amazing rye bagels are finished up in.
The result is the best pastrami sandwich on the planet. Hands down. You can just get it with mustard or as a "special."
But, do not make it an every day habit. You'll grow faster than water being pushed into a balloon.
Spread is at 262 S 20th Street in the Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia. If you go say hi to Larry and don't eat 48 hours before.
